NOAA’s Vintage West Coast Collection: Select Images

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Photo Library contains over 80,000 user-submitted images from the United States for public domain use assorted in collections focused on research, landscape, wildlife, and nature documentation in North America (primarily USA). The Photo Library have been a service of the NOAA Central Library since 1998, and is a project of NOAA, under the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Below are a selection of original photographs from the West Coast section of the America’s Coastline collection, covering a range of coastal scenery from Washington to Southern California from the 1970s to early 2000s.
